Earl LeRoy Christensen, age 94, of Cedar Rapids, IA, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone, IA.
He was born April 23, 1929, in Rockwell, IA, the son of Daniel and Viola (Renolds) Christensen. He attended Roosevelt High School and was the owner of Christensen’s Construction. Earl loved sprint car racing, nature and was an avid coin collector.
Survivors include his two sons, James (Charlene) Christensen and Larry Stam; two grandchildren, Catie Christensen and Thomas (Molly) Christensen and two great-grandchildren, Charlie and Parker. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, son, Thomas Christensen; two sisters, Mildred Hillshiem and Rosie Scloss and brother, Leland Christensen.
Per Earl’s wishes, there will be no services. Interment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, IA.
