Genevieve E. Ealy

Genevieve Elizabeth Ealy, 89, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at the Western Home Communities Martin Center.
She was born Jan. 30, 1921, in Adaza, Iowa, daughter of George Franklin and Ethel Mae Cloke Earhart. She married Leo James Ealy on August 6, 1944, in Cedar Rapids. He died May 16, 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (David) Snell and Molly (Mark) Eggleston, both of Cedar Falls.; two sons, Jim (Karen) of Louisburg, N.C., and John Ealy of Madison, Wia.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray (Mabel) Earhart of Altoona; and a brother-in-law, George Haddy of Cedar Rapids.
Preceded in death by a brother, Ivan Earhart; and a sister, Gladys Kelley.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Western Home Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial later in Platteville, Wis. Visitation for one hour before services this morning at the chapel. Richardson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
