E. Sue Watson, 82, of Marion, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family. The family will greet friends from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
Sue is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Harry Watson of Marion; two daughters, Sandra Ozburn of Cedar Rapids, and Laura Watson of Fresno, California; four grandchildren, Trent (Shannon) Ozburn, Jared (Stephanie) Ozburn, Austin Watson, and Hunter Watson; several great-grandchildren; brother, David Weaklend of Indianola, Iowa; and sister, Vicki Coffey of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sue’s memory may be directed to Inspiration Stables, located 21177 317th Street, LaMotte, Iowa 52054.
