Dyer, Jerry Wayne
Jerry Wayne Dyer, 73, of Harrison, Ohio, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sept. 2, 2013, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. A small reception will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his children, Michael Scot Dyer (Teresa), Dee Anna Dyer and Chad Jarvis; sister, Phyllis (Dick) Whitney; and granddaughter, Anna Dee Dyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Grace; and wife, Phyllis, in January 2013.
Born in Leon, Iowa on Oct. 2, 1939, Jerry graduated from Allerton High School and attended college in Kirksville, Mo. He had a number of jobs in the computer industry over the years which included positions at Lefebure and Honeywell. He most recently ran his own trucking business.
