Dvorak, Leonard Donald Sr.
Leonard Donald Dvorak Sr., 98, a resident of Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Blodgett Cemetery in Central City by Pastor Rick Gail. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include two sons, Don (Clarann) Dvorak of Center Point and John Dvorak of Montross, Colo.; two daughters, Ann (Allyn) Palmer of Ponchatoula, La. and Becky Karismy (Dave) of Fruita, Colo.; a sister, Arlene (ElRoy) Novak of Marion; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Leonard was born May 10, 1915, the son of Wencil and Anna (Severa) Dvorak in Cedar Rapids. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946. On Feb. 1, 1943, he married Eleanor Rae Blodgett. She preceded him in death in 1993.
