Dvorak, Eugene Charles
Eugene Charles Dvorak, 71, of Clutier, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. A Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama with Deacon Joe Behounek officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, rural Toledo. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Survivors include a special friend, Delores Calkins of Clutier: “He was the best man a girl could want”; one brother, David (Peg) Dvorak of Elberon; two sisters, Grace (Kent) Meyer of Cedar Rapids and Ann (Dick) O'Connor of Surprise, Ariz.; three sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Arlyn) Gray of Elkader, Florene (Lee) Kopecky of Cedar Rapids and Eileen (Les) Smith of Marion; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
