Duhme, Travis
Travis Duhme, 31, of Bonner Springs, Kan., passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, before the service, at the funeral home. Family and friends are welcome at the graveside committal services at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Travis was born Nov. 19, 1980, in Maquoketa, Iowa. He had lived in the Kansas City Metro Area for the last 22 years graduating in 1999 from North Kansas City High School. He had worked for the last 13 years for Twin Traffic Corp. in Kansas City, Kan. He was awesome at darts and was hard to beat. He was a loving son, grandson, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kelley; and by his grandfathers, Clyde and Dave.
He is survived by his mother, Cherrie Trobough of Liberty, Mo.; his father, Larry Duhme and his wife, Linda of Central City; three sisters, Lori Klocke of Olathe, Kan., Bridget Duhme of Kansas City, Mo., and Lisa Carlton-Evans of Shakopee, Minn.; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Cormack of Marion; paternal grandmother, Jean Duhme of Maquoketa; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Duhme of Maquoketa; as well as a host of other family and friends who loved him.
Trav loved his hunting buddies in Maquoketa; his dad, uncle Richy, Scott, Brandon, Brownie, Dustin, Tom and Ryan.
