Dudek, Beatrice M.
Beatrice M. Dudek, 88 of Summit Pointe, Marion, formerly of Springville, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at St. Lukes Hospital. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Bobby Dickerson will officiate. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include three daughters, Paula (Marc) Allison, Susan Fuller (Robert Dobling) and Debra (Kevin) Minish; two sons, Michael (Bernice) Kennedy and Vincent Dudek (Pat Kindl); son-in-law, Jerry Holloway; and three sisters, Norma, Gerry and Shirley.
She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Paige; five sisters; two brothers; a grandson, Daniel; and a great-granddaughter Rachel.
Bea was born on Jan. 28, 1923, in Anamosa, the daughter of Sumner and Cora Belle Butterfield Allen. She married Edward Dudek on Jan. 1, 1970, in Springville. He died Nov. 27, 2011. Bea was a member of the Springville Presbyterian Church where she belonged to several organizations there. She was a very gifted and artistic lady, painting, crocheting as well as baking.
Bea was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the “Make a Wish Foundation.”
