Duda, Joseph C.
Joseph C. Duda, 89, of Santa Fe, N.M., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, in Kingston Residence, Santa Fe. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today at Kingston Residence, Santa Fe.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Stafford and husband Robert of Clancy, Mont.; a son, Joseph Duda and wife Robin of Santa Fe; a sister,
Gertrude Galecki of Saline, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; and three sisters, Sophia, Violet and Martha.
He was born in New Kensington, Pa., and was a decorated Purple Heart Veteran of World War II. He was happily married for 65 years and passed peacefully at home with his family.
