Duane Francis Redlinger, 83, of Washington, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at his residence.
Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at St. James Catholic Church, with Father Troy Richmond officiating. Visitation will begin noon Friday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Prayer services will be 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for St. James Church or W.C.C.D. (Washington County Citizens with Disablities).

He is survived by his wife, Joan Redlinger of Washington; six daughters, Nancy Rezabek and husband Frank of Columbia, Mo., Pat Redlinger of Ames, Marsha Parker and husband Joe of Ottumwa, Carol Hoyle and husband Jeff of Washington, Franny Otte and husband Kevin of Clive, and Rhonda Redlinger of Washington; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by two sisters, Margaleen Marshall and husband Dean of Iowa City and Mary Louise Ramseyer and husband Harry of Tempe, Ariz.
