Driscoll, Molly
Molly Driscoll, 73, of Ankeny, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at Ankeny First United Methodist Faith Chapel, 7384 NW 16th St., Ankeny.
Molly will be remembered for her warm smile and her kind and generous spirit. She was an artist, an animal lover and she loved to garden. Molly was a member of the Art Lunch Club for 25 years and Ankeny First United Methodist Faith Chapel. Molly was a wonderful mother who enjoyed her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Driscoll and her parents.
Molly is survived by her five children, Kim (Bill) Warrick, Chris Driscoll Ames, David (Jacki) Driscoll, Diana (Eric) Morehouse and Tod (Sherry) Driscoll; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Dolly (Ed) Hurt; and brothers, Jim Thompson of Missouri and Larry Thompson of California.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Loren Brown, nurse Dena and the staff of Mercy Hospice for their exceptional care of Molly.
