Driscoll, Kathie 'Kate'
Kathie “Kate” Driscoll, 63, of Poudre Park, Colo., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully of a sudden illness on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, with her best friend, Steve Den holding her hand.A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at the Poudre Park Community Building, 10234 Poudre Canyon Highway 14.
Survivors include her children, Heather and Sean Quass; longtime friend and partner, Steve Den; his children, Tim and Josh Den; and siblings, Donna (Driscoll) Schulte and Mike Driscoll.
Preceding her in death were her parents, George and Marie Driscoll.
Kate was born on March 22, 1947, to George and Marie Driscoll in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from La Salle High School in 1965 ,before making her home in Poudre Park, Colo.
