DREANNA BRIGGS LANGDON
Cedar Rapids
Dreanna Briggs Langdon, 56, entered into rest Nov. 12, 2015, in
Modesto, Calif.
She is survived by her parents, William and Betty Briggs; beloved husband of 28 years, Lanny Langdon; son, William Langdon; stepchildren, Scott Ray Langdon and Thailia Insco. She was blessed by two stepgrandchildren, Ashley Phillips and Logan Langdon. In addition, Dreanna is survived by three siblings, Don Briggs (Dianna) of Cedar Falls, Jan Gianni (Dan) of Windsor, Calif., and Dick (Susan) Briggs of Cedar Rapids; nephew, Kyle Briggs; and niece, Lauren Briggs.
Dre graduated from Jefferson High School in 1977.
She was one of the first employees hired by Del Webb-Woodbridge in Manteca, Calif., as an office coordinator, where she became extremely instrumental with the development of the subdivision. Dreanna felt that Del Webb was more of a calling rather than "just a job" as she made herself available whenever needed. She always said "yes" when asked to be involved with any committees; for example, publication, architect review, and lifestyle committeee, just to name a few. She truly loved the Del Webb residence as she loved and respected them as if they were her own family. Her soft heart for animals and her kind heart for others never went un-noticed.
Dreanna will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, grandmother, wonderful sister and a friend to all. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life memorial will be noon Sunday, Nov. 29, Del Webb Club House, 1415 Americana St., Manteca, Calif.
