Dream K. Potter, 34, of Cedar Rapids, died after a yearlong battle with breast cancer on June 7, 2016, at her home. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at First Church of the Nazarene, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday before the service. Arrangements made by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Ryan Potter; children, Brayden and Alexis; father, Somchai Araksarot; mother, Panee Saelim; sister, Paula Dear Araksarod; mother- and father-in-law, Jerry and Mary Potter; and sisters-in-law, Jamie Ross and Melissa Bates.
Dream was born March 6, 1982, in Songkhla, Thailand, daughter of Somchai Araksarot and Panee Saelim. She married Ryan Potter on June 9, 2007. Dream practiced architecture after graduating from Iowa State University. She enjoyed design, cooking and spending time with her family.
