Drahn, Walter Keith

Walter Keith Drahn, 76, of Monona, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at his home.

He was born Nov. 23, 1935, in Monona, the son of Walter and Elsie (Kliefoth) Drahn. Keith graduated from Monona High School in 1953. In 1964, he married Carol Grady. From this union two sons were born, Daniel and Brent. In 1998, he married Joyce Marovets in Monona. Keith resided in Monona, where he worked and managed the Monona Coop.

Keith is survived by his wife, Joyce Drahn of Monona; two sons, Daniel (Karoline) Drahn of Monona and Brent (Ceres) Drahn of Manilla, Philippines; three grandchildren, Cecelia, Jonathon (friend Courtney) Drahn and Yyah Drahn; one great-grandchild, Kolton Drahn; four stepchildren, Wayne Bartlett Jr. of New York, Teresa Bartlett of Colorado, Christina Bartlett of Colorado and Steven Bartlett of Decorah; 10 stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Elaine (Bill) Possehl and Dolores Olds, and a brother, Robert (Dorla) Drahn, all of Monona.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Leola, Georgene and Sharon; and brother, William (Bill).

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona and one hour before church services on Saturday. Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Living Faith United Methodist Church in Monona. Inurnment to follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Monona.
