Dr. Robert C. Kurka, 64, of Lincoln, Ill., passed away at 5:11 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Robert was born on June 6, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Charles and Vera (Faltus) Kurka. He married Beverley Petersen on June 1, 1974, in Akron, Iowa. She survives him.
Also surviving Robert are his children, Holly (Randy) Zehr, Lara (Josh) O'Donoghue and Amber (Lee Funke) Kurka; 14 grandchildren; and one sister, Sherry (Brian) Pierson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gary.
