Downer, Richard 'Dick'
Richard “Dick” Downer, 62, of rural Aurora, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at his home after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Fawcett Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 305 Pearl St., Lamont. Burial: Strawberry Point Cemetery, Strawberry. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his son, James of Lamont; his mother, Mary Maxine Downer of Edgewood; and a special friend, Gail Olson of Akron, Iowa.
