DOUGLAS D. NOLAN

Douglas D. Nolan passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital. After his cremation, his ashes will be spread by his children, per his wishes.
Doug was born Sept. 21, 1953, to Ray and EchoBeth (Peterson) Nolan, in Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his children, Jessica (Joe) Mitchell and Caleb (Alison Moore) Nolan; grandchildren, Jacob Nolan, Trinity and Teagan Mitchell; siblings, Dorsey Herman, Joseph Nolan, Natalie Conner and Donald Linder; his father, Jack Linder; two nieces; four nephews; his former wife and friend, Carol Nolan; and honorary daughter and caretaker, Tricia Andersen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Doug felt his children were his greatest accomplishment, and he loved his family. He will be remembered always.
