DOUGLAS ROBERT MCNAMARA

Douglas Robert McNamara, 59, of Central City, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018. A celebration of life for Doug will be Saturday, March 24, 2018, 1 to 6 p.m. at F.B. and Co. in Waubeek, Iowa.
He is survived by his children, Rachael, Dougie, Amanda, Megan, Missy and Michael; brother, Charlie McNamara; sisters, Holly (Tim), Marcia (Jesse) and Monica; and his mother, Marilyn McNamara.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert McNamara; and brothers, Daniel McNamara and Steve McNamara.
Douglas was born in Iowa to Robert McNamara and Marilyn McNamara on June 25, 1958. Doug enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, checking rabbit traps, mushroom hunting and Budweiser. He enjoyed reading and learning the lyrics to songs he liked. His passion was being a concrete finisher, which he did up until he got sick. He was loved by all people he met and had lots of friends. Doug will be missed greatly.
Thank you to Doug's good friend Lori of 30 years, who has been there through thick and thin up until his death.
