Douglas "Jim" Hunt, 63, was born Nov. 30, 1953. He passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, with his loving wife by his side and surrounded by family. Jim fought a courageous battle with liver, kidney and heart failure. Douglas and Sascha were together 22 years.
Services: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at The Sanctuary, 912 18th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors inlude his wife, Sascha Jane Hunt; his children, Wyatt Hunt, Desziree Zander, Starr Douglas, Trisha Luten, Tommy Mart, Renea Brackin, Sam Foster, Halsey Hunt and Shody Hunt; brothers, Bill Hunt and Ron Hunt; and a sister, Dottie Laughridge.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Anthony; father, Douglas Hunt; brother, Rick Hunt; and sister, Dusty Davis.
Memorials will be accepted by his wife at the service.
