Douglas L. Daugherty, 46, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include a son, Immanuel; his mother and stepfather, Margaret and Rick Dvorak; three brothers, Bradley and Mike Daugherty and Denio (Todd) Clough; stepbother, T.J. Dvorak; and three stepsisters, Carrie Dvorak Kronfeld, Janie Dvorak Elliott and Molly Huinker. He also is survived by an uncle, Bob (Marsha) Rowe.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Agnes Rowe; and an aunt, Betty (Larry) Weitenhgen.
Doug was born Oct. 23, 1967, in Iowa City. He worked at CBC for several years and was a member of Open Bible Church. He enjoyed drawing, computers, crafts, his Cadillac and especially the time spent with his beloved family and many friends.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial fund has been established.
