Douglas Dale Gosch, 66, of Davenport, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport is assisting with arrangements.
Doug was born on Jan. 1, 1957, in Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School where he started as a varsity football and baseball player.
Doug eventually moved to the Quad Cities where he worked at Harkers, the Edward Don & Company and John Deere. He enjoyed watching his beloved Cubs, along with the Bears, Bulls, and Hawkeyes. He also enjoyed playing golf with his brother, Dave and friends, Craig McCullough and E.J. Squire.
Doug is survived by his loving and caring wife, Stacy; sons, Logan and Andrew; stepchildren, Brittany, Lucy and Brooklyn; grandchildren, Caden, Scotty, Anthony and Sofia; his brother, Dave; niece, Jessica; and nephews, Bryan, Ben and Nick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol and Dale Gosch.
