Doug Wilson, 76, of Cedar Rapids, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Dec. 13, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Little) Wilson. A private family inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Sue Wilson; son, Jeff (Penny) Wilson of Palo; grandchildren, Aaron (Ashley) Wilson, Mark (Amber) Wilson and Steven Wilson; stepgrandchildren, Keisha Covington, Amber Covington and Nathan Covington; one great-grandchild. Olive' and six stepgreat-grandchildren, Brady, Tyson, Miah, Noah, Addyson and Riley. Also surviving are two brothers, Gregg (Karen) Wilson and Dave (Margy) Wilson; a sister, Cheryl (DeWayne) Browning; and many loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
