Dorothy Evelyn White, 90, of Marion, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at Living Center East in Cedar Rapids, surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be held at
11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters, Vicki and Deborah (Ron); sons, David (Becky), Brian (Dawn) and Timothy (Linda); 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Donna and Irene.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven; sisters, Joy and Jewel; and brothers, Webster "Bud" and Cecil.
Dorothy was born May 23, 1928, to parents Orville and Lucy Latting in Buckingham, Iowa. She traveled the world on a dime and enjoyed singing and dancing, including being a member of the Sweet Adelines. She had a great sense of humor and was a jokester with family. She was best known as a giving person, putting her family first.
