Dorothy R. Plum, 91, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Grinnell, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids.
A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church, northeast of Grinnell, with Pastor Kathryn Burroughs officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at
2 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell, with the family to receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials may be designated to Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Association and mailed in care of Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Char Weuve of Marion; granddaughter, Beth (Patrick) Morrissey of Cedar Rapids; and three
great-grand-children, Graedyn, Brevyn and Courtlyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, a son-in-law and a granddaughter.
Dorothy's family would like to thank the staff at Village Place and Northbrook Manor Care Center, Dr. Alecia Allen and the pallative care team for their dedicated care and compassion.
