Decorah
Dorothy R. Miller, 89, of Decorah, Iowa, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Barthell O.E.S. Home in Decorah.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in Decorah, with the Rev. John Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Phelps Cemetery in Decorah in the spring.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah, and on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m., one hour before the service, at First United Methodist Church.
Dorothy is survived by her three children: Randal (Victoria) Miller of Davenport, Iowa, Renee (Randy) Olson of Decorah, and Russell (Lupe) Miller of Madera, Calif.; a nephew, Lee (Jan) Akins of California; three nieces, Jean (James) Dick of Nevada, Kay Richards of Iowa and Jo (Dennis) Murr of Minnesota; and great-nieces and -nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Arlin Falck Assisted Living or Barthell O.E.S. Home, 911 Ridgewood Dr., Decorah, IA 52101; W.M.C. Hospice, 901 Montgomery St., Decorah, IA 52101; or First United Methodist Church, 302 W. Broadway St., Decorah, IA 52101.
