Dorothy Lillian McDaniel, 95, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family on Saturday Feb. 4, 2017.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Robert McDaniel; and her sons, Bobby, Gary and Greg.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Al), Brenda (Kirk), Deb (Russ), Robin, Cindy (Werner), Trudy (Frank), Angela (Curtis), Laurie (Randy) and Cassandra; her sons, Jim, Doug (Cathy), Donald, Tiny (Jeremy) and David; 42 grandchildren; and many many great-grandchildren.
Our mom, mother, grandma and gaina will be greatly missed.
Cremation services provided by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Funeral service will be held at The First Church of Open Bible at 1911 E Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids, Wednesday, Feb. 8, at noon by Pastor Cody and Pastor Harris with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to noon, prior to the service to view all the pictures of Dorothy's life.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, 520 Wilson Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404; c/o Dorothy McDaniel.
