Dorothy Ann Luedtke, 87, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at Linn Manor Care Center, Marion.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Grant Hagen will officiate at the service. Visitation will begin 1 p.m. Friday until service time. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving are her children, Kurt Luedtke of Marion, Jon (Kathy) Luedtke of Fort Myers, Fla., Jill (Al) Mrazek of Ely and Kay (Terry) Bernabe of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren, Adam, Cameron, Sara, Stephen, Ryan, Samantha, Tony and Reed; three great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Darlene (Roger) Loretz and Marabelle (Jim) Mowery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Wallace Luedtke; and siblings, Marjorie, Stanley, Leslie and Oliver.
Dorothy was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Buffalo County, Wis., the daughter of Wilmer and Lillian Herold Korb. Dorothy and Wally built the first Marion A&W. She then worked at First National Bank of Marion and later Rockwell Collins. Dorothy was one of the original members of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Marion and an active member of the ABWA. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and helping others.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly.
