Dorothy Marie Lake, 95, of Manchester, formerly of Colesburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at The Meadows in Manchester, Iowa.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Diane (Paul) Bohlken of Marion, Gary (Linda) Lake of Epworth, Doris (Dave) Sherman of Manchester, Marsha (Pat) Mescher of Dundee and Roger Lake of Manchester; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Ament of Jesup; one brother, Daniel (Sandra) Geistkemper of Dyersville; a sister-in-law, Verna Geistkemper of Savanna, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
The Lake family would like to express heartfelt thanks to The Meadows staff and St. Croix Hospice for all of the compassionate care given to Dorothy and her family.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester with the Rev. Herbert Pins officiating. Visitation: 8 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Interment: St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Colesburg, Iowa.
