She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; parents, Aage and Ebba Jensen Christensen; and a brother, Floyd Christensen.
Dorothy was born Jan. 7, 1927, in West Liberty and graduated from high school at West Branch. She married Charles A. Blaha on July 6, 1952, in Cedar Rapids. Charles passed away in 2010. Dorothy worked at Wilson's Packing House for 10 years and later retired from Rockwell Collins after 20 years of service.
Her pleasures in life were crocheting, cards, sewing, reading and fishing with her family. She enjoyed their cabin at Lake Rathbun for many years. Dorothy and Charles belonged to the Model A Car Club in which they had many friends and she was a faithful member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Dorothy loved the little things in life. She was a simple woman who asked for little. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
