Doris Yoder, 85, of Coralville, passed away on October 22, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital-Downtown.
Doris was born on March 31, 1939, in Iowa City to Richard and Katie (Brenneman) Yoder.

Doris loved volunteering for the Girl Scouts. She was a co-leader and set up adventure camping trips to Colorado. She also belonged to the First Presbyterian Woman’s Circle, taught Sunday School and was a church deacon.
Doris lovingly took great care of her mother for years while her health was failing. She enjoyed taking long walks, following Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball as well as riding her bicycle. Her kindness, quick wit and humor will never be forgotten.
Doris is survived by her brother, Kenneth Yoder (Evelyn Moore); nieces and nephews: Ronald (Marie) Yoder, Susan (David) Day, Kathryn (Thomas) DeVries, Sandra (Jeremy) Godin, Lori (Chad) Steffens, Randall Yoder, Gary (Rita) Yoder and Larry Yoder as well as several great nieces and nephews and close friends, Susie Thrams and Bill Landers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leland “Bud” Yoder and sister, Ruth Yoder.
A memorial service is being planned for January 11, 2025, with more details to come. Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.lensingfuneral.com
