Doris L. Lovelett, 86, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at Steve Sanders residence, 3540 C Avenue Extension, Marion. Inurnment will be held in Campbell Cemetery, Bertram.
Doris is survived by her sister, Kathryn (Scott) Sanders of Cedar Rapids; son, Larry Lovelett of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Terry Lovelett of Fargo, N.D.; grandchildren, Crystal and Gregery Lovelett, Susan and Latisha Lovelett; great-grandchildren, Evan Lovelett, Brayden and Conner Lovelett; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Ron Cook and Dan Blair.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Berneta (Quackenbush) Trimble; husband, Ronald; brother, Marvin Trimble; and sisters, Sandra Trimble, in infancy, Alice VanWoert, Velma Hepker and Dorothy Hartwick.
Doris will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
The family would like to especially thank Steve & Kate for their frequent visits and lunches.
Memorial may be given in Doris's name to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
