Doris Jean Moore, 90, of Mahtomedi, Minn., died Friday, June 10, 2022. Doris was born July 16, 1931, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of George and Genevieve (nee McKenna) Kopetsky Sr. After attending Cedar Rapids High School, Doris went on to begin her working career. She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Kenneth Moore on June 12, 1950. For many years she worked as an accountant at several different businesses. She loved bus trips to the casino, including hosting the trips and traveling around the United States.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John M Henderson; second husband, William K. Moore; daughter, Diane Moffet; son-in-law, Jim Bedell; sisters, Dorothy Kopetsky, Patty Kopetsky and Marcella Janssen; and brothers-in-law, Loren (Buck) Broxey and Robert (Bob) Janssen.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Stuart Salokar) Moore and Linda Bedell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, George (Barbara) Kopetsky Jr., Mary Ann Broxey and Jim (Eleanor) Kopetsky; and other family and friends.
In respecting Doris’ wishes, no formal service will be held.
