Doris J. Hall, 83, of Marion, passed away at her home Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Visitation: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion. Private family burial will take place at Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Doris is survived by her husband, Charles; daughter, Wendy Sue (Dr. Aris) Campbell; son, John Charles Hall; grandchildren, Amanda Bethune, Carley Munster and Becky Campbell; great-grandchildren, Aris and Aurelia Bethune, Tyler Cross and Alyjuh Hatton and Braden and Riley Munster.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Richard Charles Hall.
Doris was born Nov. 11, 1932, in Lake Forest, Ill., to Dirk and Gertrude Bennes. She graduated from Lake Forest, Ill., High School. Doris married Charles Edward Hall in Lake Forest.
Doris enjoyed making porcelain dolls, doing crafts, outdoor activities, supporting her son's racing activities, traveling and animals of all types.
