Doris Joan Hall passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Mercy Iowa City at the age of 87 years.
She is survived by her son, Edward M. Hall (Brenda Sams) of North English; a daughter, Carol Tietz (Tim) of Hiawatha; two granddaughters, Diedre Howe (Thomas) of Eldora and Laura Tietz of Marion; a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Howe; and two brothers, Edward Oldis of Hinsdale, Ill., and Robert Oldis (Mary Pat) of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Philip Oldis.
A celebration of life memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 26, at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to Bobby Oldis Fields, c/o Iowa City Boys Baseball.
