Doreen Dorothy Hamdorf, 87, died Friday, May 6, 2016. There will be no services.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Hamdorf; daughters, Pam Weiland (Loren Marten) and Debra (Jan) Bartels; sons, Gene (Jaynice) Hamdorf and Dean (Lisa) Hamdorf; sister, Gloria Hickey; brothers, Darrell (Judy) Beranek and Steve (Pat) Beranek; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Jay Weiland.
Doreen was born June 15, 1928. She was a high school graduate. She and Robert were married 67 years. She loved camping, fishing, spending time with her family and grandchildren and helping the children at school. She was a volunteer at North Cedar School. Doreen was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Lowden.
