Dora Lee Williams, 93, of Cedar River Tower, died at her home Monday, Nov. 23, 2015. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 Second St. SE, with the Rev. Ken Koske of Twin Pines Baptist Church officiating. Burial: Walker Cemetery, Walker. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Dora is survived by her son, Richard Seaton, Cedar Rapids; her daughter, Patty (Art) Esparza, Redondo Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren, Tracy, Wade, Wendy, Chris and Marisa; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Williams; her son, Glenn Lee Williams; daughter-in-law, Shirley Seaton; her parents; and two brothers, Jim and Don McCalley.
Dora Lee was born March 20, 1922, in Independence, to Edward Marshall and Bessie Alice (Doty) McCalley. During World War II, she worked in the shipyards in California. Dora later worked at Shick Lingerie Co. in Redondo Beach, Calif., for 19 years until her retirement. In 1992, Dora Lee returned to Cedar Rapids from California.
Dora was a member of Twin Pines Baptist Church.
