Donovan “Don” Hoffman, 72, of Springville, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to
5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa. The family requests that everyone dress casually, as Don did not like to dress up!

On Jan. 16, 1971, Don was united in marriage to Betty Zeller at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Springville. He worked for PMX before retiring in 2012. Don loved his Harley and boat house and enjoyed sitting on the porch. He had a quick wit and had some of the best one liners. Don will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Don is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Betty Hoffman of Springville; two sons, Dustin Hoffman of Ely, Iowa, and Scott (Cyndi) Hoffman of Gainesville, Va.; four grandchildren, Colton, Braydon, Halia and Alani; two sisters, Donna (Al) Grundstad of Iowa City, Iowa, and Cheri Lough of Mesa, Ariz.; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary Barnes, Bob Zeller, Julie Hoffman, Carol Zeller, Mark Zeller, Ted Zeller, Janet McCarthy, Jean Hanna, Joel Zeller and Steve Zeller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Hoffman; and brother-in-law, Dean Zeller.
