Donna J. Watts, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at the chapel from 1 until 3 p.m. Tuesday. Private family interment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Donna Jean Watts was born Dec. 11, 1938, in Central City, Iowa, the daughter of Myron and Vergie (German) Dolph. She was united in marriage to Van Charles Watts on Oct. 26, 1957, in Cedar Rapids. Donna was a homemaker for most of her life.
She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, especially doilies, scarves, afghans and doll clothes. She liked to do crossword puzzles. She loved to cook and bake; a holiday favorite was her Czech poppy seed roll.
Donna is survived by her husband, Van; son, Dave Watts (Christy) of Washington; daughter, Judi Watts of Marion; daughter, Kathy Holland (Marlyn) of McKinney, Texas; son, Michael Watts of St. Paul, Minn.; three grandchildren, Jen Clendineng (Matt) of Fairfield, Amy Watts of Fargo, N.D., and Mike Watts of Cedar Rapids; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dee Shakespeare of Brunswick, Ga., Janyce Johnston of Cedar Rapids and Nancy Reents of Cedar Rapids; and one brother, Dan Dolph of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bill and Bob Dolph.
