Donna Jean Hall-King, 64, died Sunday, March 11, 2018, with her children by her side. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 8, at 1 p.m. at Champion Hill Church, 3134 TT Ave., Wellman, Iowa. Inurnment will follow at Champion Hill Cemetery.
Donna was born on July 24, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Kathryn (Kane) Hall and Jackie Eugene Hall. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School in 1972. On April 28, 1973, she was united in marriage to Steven King.
Donna enjoyed country music, loved Elvis Presley, loved watching her soap operas and more than anything else she loved being a mother and spending time with her kids and grandkids. They will miss her dearly.
Survivors include her children, Roy King, Jeffrey King and Debi King; brothers, Robert Hall, William Hall, Gerald Hall, Michael Hall and Donnie Campbell; sisters, Louann Hall, Donita Campbell and Shelley Ellickson; and grandchildren, Trenton King, Matthew Gire, Ryen and Natalie Feickert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn (Kane) Hall and Jackie Eugene Hall; husband, Steven King; daughter, Julie King-Gire; siblings, Jack Hall, Gary Campbell, Rose Hall and Tracy Campbell; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
