Donna Hawthorn, 78, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at home. No services are planned. The family is being cared for by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her siblings, Patricia Huff and Charles (Marilyn) Hawthorn; nephews, Jeff (Diana) Huff and Charles (Jill Welter) Huff; niece, Melissa (Steve Silver) Hawthorn; and great niece, Mia Silver.
Donna was born Jan. 17, 1945, daughter of Harold and Margaret Hawthorn, in Iowa City, IA. Donna enjoyed reading, watching movies, and spending time with her cats. In her early years she loved to go out dancing.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
