Donna Belle Miller, 91, formerly of Coffeyville, Kan., passed away on Jan. 3, 2018, at Golden Oaks Retirement Home in Enid, Okla.
Donna was born in Jackson Township, Iowa, on July 1, 1926, the youngest of six siblings, to William and Wilhelmina (Groen) Dreessen. She attended and graduated from country schools in the Wall Lake area. Donna was united in marriage to Lowell J. Miller in 1954. Donna and Lowell owned and operated their own business. With Lowell, they loved country music, traveling, arts and crafts and their dogs. Donna loved spending time with her family, her daughters and grandchildren. Her great- and great-great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Donna's memories will live on through her daughter, Rebecca McHale; her husband, Donald of Enid, Okla.; granddaughters, Carrie Merrell of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Brandi McHale of Texas, Stacey Straw of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Lori Hellman of Mesa, Ariz.; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She now rests with her parents; her husband, Lowell; daughter, Sharon Kennedy; brothers, Alfred Dreessen, Leonard Dreessen and Marvin Dreessen; and sisters, Dorothy Hollander and Norma Alter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel at 10 a.m. with interment immediately following at Fairview Cemetery. Friends are invited to sign the register and greet the family on Friday, Jan. 5, at the chapel from 6 to 8 p.m.
