Donaldson, Richard D. 'Dick'
Richard D. “Dick” Donaldson, 70, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Mercy Iowa City following a lengthy illness. Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Visitation will begin at noon today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Donaldson of Washington; son, David Donaldson and wife Christine of Chandler, Ariz.; son, Brian Donaldson and wife Sue of Wellman; six grandchildren; brother, Dennis L. Donaldson and wife Mary of Ottumwa; sister, Linda Kempf and husband Marlin of Iowa City; sister, Carol Galbraith and husband Joe of Iowa City; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials have been established for Marr Park Conservation Center.
