Donald Dean Williams, 80, of Salina, Kan., passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Salina Regional Health Center.
Donald was born in Newhall, Iowa, on March 25, 1935, to Sylvia (Voeltz) and Elmer Williams. Donald was a 1953 graduate of Atkins (Iowa) High School. He worked as a sales manager for Morton Buildings.
Donald was the husband of Patricia (Subbert) Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of the home; daughters, Kathy (Bob) Koehn of Atkins, Miriam (Jody) Junge of Atkins and Susan (Billy) Gaskill of Lindsborg, Kan.; sons, Robert Williams of Newhall and Douglas (Marci) Williams of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; brothers, Leroy (Phyllis) Williams of Phoenix, Ariz., and Terry Williams of Cedar Rapids; as well as 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maureen Gardeman; and granddaughter, Abigail Coykendall.
Visitation will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 30. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, with the Rev. Shawn Deterding officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Donald's name to the Trinity Lutheran Church building fund, 702 S. Ninth St., Salina, KS 67401; or to North Central Kansas Down Syndrome Society, 1012 Washington St., Clyde, KS 66938.
