Donald J. Parrott Sr., 86, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Iowa City, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.

His family includes his children, William Parrott, Joan Redmond, Arvin Parrott and Donald J. Parrott Jr.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ursula Teggatz; and a brother, Leo Parrott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Anna Parrott; wife, Pauline; six brothers and three sisters.
