Donald L. Nicholson, 98, of Washington, Iowa, died early Wednesday morning, March 1, 2017, at the United Presbyterian Home, Washington, Iowa.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 6. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bill Warhover officiating, followed by burial in Elm Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Washington County or the United Presbyterian Home.

Don is survived by his wife, Davida; his son, Dean (Dianne) of Freeport, Ill., and their two daughters with spouses and four children; and his daughter, Pat Ryan of Iowa City, and her two children with spouses and three children.
