Donald Krebsbach, 76, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018.
Survivors include his children, April (Jeff) Ferrie of Cedar Rapids, J. Mikel (Jessica) Krebsbach of Mariposa, Calif., and Dustin Krebsbach of Boise, Idaho; his sister, Delores (Rich) Kahler of Britt; and grandchildren, Jake Robertson, Morgan Robertson, Maddie Ferrie, Marie Krebsbach and Lola Krebsbach.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Maurice and Pat.
Donald was born Feb. 10, 1942, in Swea City, Iowa, to Jack and Mary Krebsbach. He graduated Ledyard High School in 1960. He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and was awarded a Purple Heart. In 1971, he married Janie Johnson. They resided in Algona. They later divorced. He was employed as a truck driver at BP Amoco for many years. He loved car shows, NASCAR racing and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and Dr. Don's Happy Hour.
