Donald Leonard Joslin, 74, of North Liberty, died Friday, May 20, 2016, at Mercy Iowa City. Celebration of Life services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW in Cedar Rapids. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, where full military rites will be conducted. Visitation will be one hour before services Thursday at the chapel.
Donald was born May 7, 1942, in Anamosa, the son of Leonard and Dorothy (Nowachek). He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Don worked for many years at Iowa Medical and Classification Center (Oakdale).
He enjoyed taking walks and most of all spending time with his family.
Don is survived by his niece, Barbara (Mark) Sons of DeWitt; nephews, Darrin Jensen of Anamosa and Daniel (Carmen) Joslin of Marion; two great-nieces, Emily and Charlea; and his great-nephew, Ethan.
He was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Barbara Joslin and Sharyn Jensen; and brother, Leonard Joslin.
