Donald "Don" Gudenkauf, 57, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, at Church of Christ United in Winthrop. Burial: Lower Spring Grove Cemetery near Troy Mills. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop, where a Scripture service will be at 2:30 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharla Main Gudenkauf of Winthrop; his son, Nickolas (Amber) Gudenkauf of Masonville; his daughter, Kylie (Jeff Lowe) Gudenkauf of Slater; two grandchildren, Isabell Lowe and Aubry Gudenkauf; his parents, Vernon and Joan Gudenkauf; and seven brothers and sisters, Deb (Jerry) Brincks, Bob (Jan) Gudenkauf, Doris (Paul) Jacobs, Linda (Joe Drobnick) Gudenkauf, Jim (Kim) Gudenkauf, Betty Beauregard and Tammy Gudenkauf.
