DONALD “DON” GERARD TEAHEN

Donald "Don" Gerard Teahen, 71, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021, following a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at Teahen Funeral Home by Penny Ackerman. Burial: St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service.
Don is survived by his life partner, Carol Snyder of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Sandy Graham of Delhi, Pat (Chuck) Craig of Prairie du Sac, Wis., Tom Teahen of Rhonert Park, Calif., Rick Teahen of Cedar Rapids, Julie (Dick) Jacobsen of Paradise Valley, Ariz., and Steve (Denise) Teahen of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, in law, Buzz Graham.
Don was born on Jan. 12, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, the son of John "Ed" and Maxine Lefebure Teahen. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1969 and worked as a supervisor for Norand.
He enjoyed spending time with friends and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
